Christmas is Coming!

Hello my friends! Well,, here we sit, on December 16th, less than 10 days till Christmas. Sometimes, when you look around at the commercialism that has invaded this holiday it is hard to remember what it is really and truly all about. Hard, but not impossible. At this time of year we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Yes, I am aware that it is probable that he was not born on the day we celebrate him, but regardless, we celebrate him. Even if you insist that you are a non-believer, with every Christmas Present you wrap you affirm that he is real. I affirm that he is real, that he is my Savior. When it is my turn to stand before God and account for my imperfect life Jesus will stand with me, he will extend his mercy towards me and gladly state that I am his, that he has taken the weight of my sins upon himself thus allowing me to stand in the glorifying presence of God, our Heavenly Father.
